RC Civil Products

Environmental Responsibility

This is crucial insurance for companies with potentially polluting activities , as it guarantees financial coverage for repairing damage to soil, water, air, or biodiversity, in addition to administrative fines and legal defense costs. In Portugal, it has been mandatory since 2010 for operators listed in Annex III of Decree-Law No. 147/2008 (chemical, metallurgical, etc. industries), under penalty of fines and joint liability of managers.

Civil Liability for Directors & Officers (D&O)

Civil Liability AL

Mandatory insurance (Decree-Law 76/2024) for houses or apartments with up to 8 occupants, with a minimum coverage of €75,000 per unit , protects against material or bodily damage caused to guests or third parties during the operation of the business. Without it, registration with Turismo de Portugal is cancelled, preventing legal operation and exposing the owner to fines from the municipal councils.

Civil Liability in Tourist Entertainment

This is mandatory insurance by law (Decree-Law No. 39/2008 and Decree-Law No. 186/2015) for agents registered with RNAAT (National Register of Tourist Entertainment Agents), with a minimum coverage of €50,000, protecting against damages to guests or third parties during activities such as tours, sports, or tourist events. Without it, the registration is invalid, preventing legal operation and exposing the agent to fines from ASAE (Food and Economic Security Authority) or Turismo de Portugal (Tourism of Portugal).
